Sledging in Prato allo Stelvio/ Val Venosta - Winter fascination in South Tyrol

You have direct access to the small natural toboggan run at the St. Johann church from the campsite (200m), depending on snow conditions from Christmas to carnival.

A special attraction is the 4 km long natural toboggan run over the closed pass road up to Stilfserjoch. Above Trafoi, the road can be used for the 5 km toboggan run.   

The Natural Sledge Run at the Adventure Mountain Watles

The natural sledge run leads over 4 miles through the larch forest of Watles. It is a place for relaxed sledge rides and is considered as one of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the entire Alpine region, also ideal for families with small children as it is easily reached with the chairlift. Real sportsmen, of course, reach the sledge run by foot (uphill approx. 1.5 hours journey).

At the chairlift mountain station (with sledge rental) as well as the valley station, visitors will find huts and alpine pastures for families in a cozy environment and with spacious sun terraces.
